dotMailer Choose UBC for Northern Office

Online marketing agency dotMailer, who have been looking for offices in the North for a couple of months, have taken space at the Digital World Centre run by United Business Centres (UBC) in Salford Quays.

dotMailer have been looking after a large number of clients in the North from their headquarters in London but decided they could service them more effectively, and increase their presence in the area from a dedicated regional office.

It is very typical for serviced offices in Manchester to host satellite offices from London-based companies and this deal only goes to show that Manchester is still seen as the UK’s second city for business.

Director of Regional Business Development at dotMailer, Donna McNicholas, said: “We have been looking for suitable office space that was close to our major clients and provided flexible terms. UBC Manchester is just what we were looking for: a beautifully fitted, modern office with state-of-the-art technology plus support from the UBC team to go with it. We also plan to take full advantage of the superb conference and meeting facilities and, as we expect the company to continue its rapid expansion, it’s great that we can increase our office space as we need it.”

Jane Erasmus, UBC Area Manager, added: “We welcomed dotMailer on board just recently and I know that they are delighted with their new premises. We are able to offer them our premier facilities in the most fitting working environment for their business. We have a superb location here for all our clients, close to the heart of Manchester and right opposite the new Media City UK. I’m sure dotMailer will be very happy in their new offices.”

It is promising to still see businesses expanding into new locations, which is news that seems to be brushed under the carpet at the moment.  There is minimal risk for taking space in serviced offices with short-term licences and the ability to expand as and when required rather than committing to a long term lease on a large office.
