Manchester City Council change their minds on Spinningfields
We reported last month that Manchester City Council had installed Spinningfields as the favoured option for their temporary office space requirement for up to 150,000 sq ft, but Crain’s Manchester are reporting that this is no longer the case.Allied London’s Spinningfields development has really cleaned up in Manchester in recent years, winning nearly all of the major requirements in the market. The Manchester City Council requirement really looked like being the feather in the cap, but it seems not all was as perfect as it seemed.
Rival developers will therefore be rubbing there hands at the prospect of going back in to win the business without Spinningfields being a contender. It opens up for the recently launched Belvedere scheme, Piccadilly Place and Ask’s Number One First Street among others.
