Eco Friendly One First Street
Number One First Street, an office development by Manchester based Ask, has achieved 2006 BREEAM Excellent status.Congratulations to them, as it becomes “the only North West office building to achieve the environmental and sustainability accreditation after a post construction audit” according to Crain’s Manchester.
Green issues are without a doubt becoming more important, not only for genuine support for the environment, but also from a marketing and cost saving perspective. This building could represent a huge step in the right direction for any major company. However, as is the case with much Manchester office space, the building remains unoccupied.
